Heavy/Medium Duty Technician
Working at Transfleet Service is an opportunity to grow your knowledge on a variety of different medium and heavy-duty vehicles. Some of the repeat equipment that comes through our bays are Class A and B tractor-trailers, garbage trucks, ambulances, and farm equipment.
Mitchel Software and Service Writing
All service writing, diagnostics, and parts allocation has been streamlined using the Mitchel program. This streamlining is brought directly to the technicians’ hands with Samsung tablets. These tablets are also used for assessments when doing inspections and estimates. The technicians take photos to back up their diagnoses.
Employee Benefits
Transfleet works with a benefit broker to supply the option to enroll in benefits. The benefits offered are health, dental, vision, and other supplementary coverages. Along with insurance, we have also partnered with our payroll company to set up a 401k available for employees to begin funding. Other benefits include the Annual Summer BBQ and annual Christmas Party.
Inventory & Parts Management
To better assist our customers and technicians, we have an expansive inventory of parts and alike for jobs common jobs that come through the door. Using the inventory organization in our service writing program, it brings functionality and order together. If the part that is needed isn’t in stock, our relationship with multiple nearby dealers assists in quick allocation of the parts needed.
Auto Diesel Institue Career Fair (Baker College)
We love the partnership we have grown with ADI at Baker College. We have a lead technician that attended Baker, and we are always looking for students to help them gain experience in the diesel field. Once a year they hold a career fair that we go to and set up a booth at. It’s exciting to see the future of the diesel world!
